This assembly may come at a time when children are struggling with the future and the number of unknowns it has – Will schools stay open? What will happen about Christmas? Will we have to stop seeing friends and family completely? When will the pandemic end?
It looks at different ways of thinking about uncertainty and ideas that will help.
The assembly contains an optional story about the benefits of keeping going – a sort of modern-day real-life tortoise and hare. It’s also a chance to explain what you know will be a constant for them – contact with school in whatever form that takes.
