Online Resilience - Introduction
This assembly -
Helps to make young people aware of the risks of using online devices
Looks at what they can do to reduce the effects of their use so that they can enjoy the benefits and minimise any harm.
By the time most young people in the UK reach the age of 14 they will have spent the equivalent of 6 months looking at their phone during that period. That’s 3.5 % of their life so far by this stage. If you spend 6 months doing something it will have some impact on you Digital Resilience helps to minimise any risks in this time.
This assembly doesn’t criticise what young people do with their phones, it’s designed to make us all think - about the good bits and not so good bits of phone use.
